Installing a Vertical
Foregrip on Thompson Airsoft Guns page.
Yes, the new Cybergun comes with these
goodies already. So this is a retrofit for your older ones.
First, the
foregrip. I got one from IMA-USA for about $30.
Once you take off
the stock straight foregrip, you'll see this stepped metal bar
underneath. By covering it in one layer of masking tape, I was
able to use it to "cast in place" the pink autobody putty you
see here. VERY LITTLE is needed! Just enough to remove the
slop.
Set the
parts up with the mixed putty, and?
Walk away Human...because you want ZERO
movement during set-up, or the thing will have slop in it.
Installed, looks
like it came that way. And it's as solid as the straight grip
was.
