The first Sci fi gun Killbuckets built at
home
I called it the
KBC6100, and I forget why. Built in 2007, it was hastily
sketched on a napkin, cut out on a kitchen table, and stuck
together with ABS cement. The number in its name may have been
in reference to it's weight- seemingly 61 lbs or so.
Non-functional, but built around
one of my airsoft Browning M1919 (see the rear square portion,
at odds with the rest?) chassis, it could have easily been
made to shoot. This was my FIRST minigun, and also the
prototype for my "spinning FAKE barrel pack around an airsoft
gun axle" concept, now proven in nearly 100
assemblies.
This assembly became a store display at
Sinister sports in Citrus Heights while they were still in
business. After sitting in their store for almost a year, I
gave it away to a customer for Christmas that year. It turned
out the recipient is a movie producer for The History Channel.
Too bad I wasn't giving away a Browning!
