Big, black, and beautiful: The Big
Killbuckets M134 Minigun airsoft
I wanted to make a Movie-Style M134 Minigun from scratch. However, since everything looks bigger on-screen, I made it about twice the size it should be, thus creating my "Big Minigun Pattern" set. Naturally, it had to be glossy black!

A brand-new Logitech attack II joystick was purchased, gutted, and converted to operate relays. These relays then controlled this FULLY FUNCTIONAL home built airsoft minigun. Notice the clevis-pin body assembly that allows complete tear-down without hand tools. This is the biggest airsoft gun ever built by killbuckets, nearly thirty pounds of portable Evil
Again, they better have some hearty breakfasts on the movie set. You can see me (5' 11, 180lbs) groan in the video where I demo it on YouTube.
All knocked down. Wiring features Molex connectors and snaps apart easily. No tools are needed at all to put the minigun back together.
A massive aisoft M249SAW gearbox, two big nicad batteries slide into the body, out of sight. The tube going into the hole is the feed of BB's into the gearbox, from one of my automated BB-feeder patterns.
This minigun was entirely designed in CAD
Before any parts were ever made.
Making an airsoft minigun is a complex task,
because you need a motorized drive for the barrels, a motorized ammo feed, and a very reliable firing mechanism.
This render shows the secret behind making a home built minigun cheaply: the belt drive from an ordinary vacuum cleaner.
